The problem
The client had outgrown their cobbled-together ops stack: a mix of spreadsheets, Airtable automations, and one-off scripts that no one wanted to touch. They needed a real internal platform but didn’t have the in-house engineering capacity to build one without delaying their core product roadmap.
What we built
A 3-person Riyex team owned the project end-to-end: data modeling, API design, frontend, deployment, and monitoring setup. We delivered a fully operational internal platform in 12 weeks: database schema through production Kubernetes deployment, with observability baked in from the start.
The stack was chosen for longevity: Go for the API layer (fast, boring, maintainable), React for the frontend, Postgres for storage, Kubernetes for deployment flexibility.
Results
Shipped in 12 weeks. The ops team migrated off the legacy tooling within the first week of launch. The platform has been in daily production use since, maintained by the client’s own team, which was the goal.
